I didn’t like the color this year because I am not really an orange person. I am not likely going to use emerald green in my quilts. I am sort of a green person but I really don’t like that shade of green.
As greens go, this one is one of my favorites. That may have something to do with the fact that I have a May birthday and that it goes well with blues.
Just as I was listening to your podcast I was un- raveling an old knitting UFO- from nearly 30 yrs ago…yes its this green. And I do like it and will re-knit a yoga top.
I love emerald green. Will I use it in a quilt? Maybe. I will likely use it in home dec items – to brighten up a room. I will probably buy clothes that have some emerald green in them. Not an entire outfit, but a blouse, or part of a pattern in a blouse would be lovely.
I usually stick with the colors that I love and not according to Pantone. Tangerine is going to look last year in 2013. That being said, emeralds will be the accessory to wear and as a May birthday girl, will be wearing those. Quilts, no emerald.
