Elly and I had a brief window of time to chat at the end of session 2 of the Empty Spools Seminar last March. What strikes you most about Elly is what a gentle and gracious lady she is… then you discover that she has a great sense of humor.

I loved Elly’s comment about wanting to be a grandmother when she was in college. I too had that idea too. Imagining doing lots of artsy crafty things with grand-kids…I couldn’t see myself as a mother at first… but things changed. What a gracious sounding woman she is.

I’ve just been trying to download the podcast with Elly onto my MP3 player and having no luck at all. Is this one not downloadable? I’m very new to MP3s,so I may be doing something wrong. Help if you can. Thanks!

No worries — I hate to tell you how long it took me to be able to understand my way around my iPod and downloading!
Ok, if you’re downloading from the website, right click on the PODCAST icon, choose ‘Save Link as…’ and it will download to your computer. You can then take the file and drag it onto your MP3 player and it should save there. You might have to search for it on the MP3 player — I know this by personal experience, when I can’t find something that I know I put there ; )
Or, if you get the podcast from iTunes, you need to click on the GET button. It will download into your PODCASTS folder. Then, you have to click on the show you want and drag it to your MP3 player.
