What a pleasure it was to interview Ricky. He is a great quilter, entertainer, and all-around great guy to hang out with.

Ricky, in his office at Tims’ Art Quilt Studio. Do you love the wall painting? I love petroglyphs and Ricky took trips to neighboring states to find designs for this wall — and so, yes, Ricky painted the wall. Isn’t it cool?!

Here is a picture of the TAQS, after just finishing the show tapings:

Visit Ricky’s website at Ricky Tims.com to check out everything you want to know about Ricky, especially his retreats in La Veta. You will also be able to see Ricky’s Reality Blog, where he gives you detailed instruction on how to do a Rhapsody quilt — which, by the way, has a giveaway at the end of it.

Ok, so if you haven’t visited The Quilt Show, what are you waiting for?!

Love your podcasts! I would love to find your podcast with Suzanne Marshall that Ricky mentioned. Where would I find that?

I just tonight (1 -30-2012) heard about your podcast on the TQS show # 209, got to your website and finally saw the interview with Ricky as I was looking for how to listen to a podcast./ This intrview is marvelous! I right then decided to make a contribution to help keep your podcasts going./ I could not find the year for this interview. Where do I find that? / Thank you for bringing us another avenue of information for those of us seekig to learn more about becoming a better quilter. I am espeially interested in learning more about value. I am an artist and the work I do is totallly intuitive and spontaneous (my abstract paintings) but I feel a need to learn more about value in quilts. I’ve only made 3 so far and working on #4 (this one in a class to learn to use my Bernina better). Are the exercises you spoke of in the TQS episode in your book and which one? I see you have a more reent one ?/ It’s after 3:30AM so I must come back another time. Thank you again for doing the Podcasts!
